The premium depends on the deposited surety amount and on the type of use (private or commercial). goCaution does not charge any additional fees for administration, claims, contract amendments or cancellations.
For private customers, the premium rate is 4.5 % of the deposit plus 5 % federal stamp duty.
- ✓Deposit up to CHF 2'000 → annual premium: CHF 94.50 (minimum premium Private)
- ✓Average premium for residential tenants: approx. CHF 189.00
- ✓Deposit up to CHF 5'000 → annual premium: CHF 236.25 (minimum premium Business)
- ✓From CHF 5'001 the business premium rate is between 5 % and 6 % depending on creditworthiness
