When is a payment made to the landlord?

A payment is only made if the landlord submits a substantiated claim and the tenant does not dispute it – or a legally binding decision has been issued.

  • Completed surety certificate signed by both parties (or acknowledgement of debt / court judgement)
  • Copy of the tenancy agreement
  • Final statement / tenant account statement
  • Landlord's bank details

Gut zu wissen

Documents can be submitted by email to claims@gocaution.ch. Landlords with portal access can report claims digitally at login.gocaution.ch.
