If you are a goCaution customer and are about to move or have already left the insured rental property, you can submit a move notification to us. So that we can initiate the necessary steps, please send us the tenancy cancellation confirmation.

Announce or confirm the move
Let us know whether you are about to move or have already moved.

Send the cancellation confirmation
Send your landlord's cancellation confirmation by email to cancellation@gocaution.ch so that we can stop the premium counter.

Carry out the property handover
At the handover, the landlord checks whether any claims exist.

Await the landlord's release
The landlord releases the surety bond, provided no claims exist. Only then is the contract terminated.
